We prefer this method rather than the inpersonal approach where the adverts are seen but not spoken about. At ai the adverts are an integral part of the site and we encourage our advertisers to become members and get involved in the community.

You can use flash animation as long as it only plays once and does not loop. If you use flash it must not contain embedded tracking code as this can slow down page loads.
You may not use animated gifs as they loop continuously. For non-animated banners jpg, gif and png formats are all acceptable.
If you wish to change the design of your banner half way through a month this is fine and actually encouraged, keeping your ads from looking stale by updating them will increase their performance and make you and us happy.
ai has an average of 1,300 unique visitors a day. On a good day it can be above 3,000 and on weekends will usually only just top 1,000.
We average over 10,000 page views per day, each visitor making over 9 page views per visit on average.
Your ads will rotate evenly with up to 6 other advertisers.
